Every North Carolinian deserves equal access to information about their candidate and their vote. The Mike Colvin for NC House website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

• High-contrast white text on a navy background.
• Full keyboard navigation, with labeled buttons and links.
• Descriptive alternative text on photographs.
• Labeled form fields for contact, volunteer, and ballot lookup.
• A responsive layout that works on phones, tablets, and desktops, and supports browser zoom and text resizing.
• Plain language wherever possible.

We are continually reviewing the site. Some third-party content, such as the embedded campaign video and external voting resources, is controlled by other providers and may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Auto-rotating hero images may be difficult for some users; the video can be paused at any time.
