A dedicated leader, businessman, and public servant working with constituents of North Carolina House District 42. A Fayetteville native and licensed funeral service professional, Mike has led through business, the church, the NAACP, and the North Carolina Democratic Party.
Biography
A Fayetteville native, Mike Colvin was born to the late Henry Mitchell Colvin Sr. and Elva “Tina” Colvin, the founders of Colvin Funeral Homes of Fayetteville and Lumberton, North Carolina.
A practicing licensed funeral service professional, Mike brings more than 20 years of experience serving families throughout the community. He serves the community daily through his leadership roles at Colvin Funeral Homes and Paye Memorial Funeral Establishment.
Mike also maintains active roles as a political advisor, political strategist, and policy advisor to various elected officials, professional organizations, and community leaders.
A proud Duke University graduate, Mike is a faithful member of the Simon Temple AME Zion Church, where he serves as a devoted member of the Steward Board and the Lay Council Ministries.
